One of our goals is to make the user experience for our students seamless and intuitive. We research the design and use of computer technology, focusing particularly on the interfaces between people (users) and computers.

One of our goals is to make the user experience for our students seamless and intuitive. We research the design and use of computer technology, focusing particularly on the interfaces between people (users) and computers. Our research includes innovation in user-interface software tools, field studies of computer human interaction in rural villages and tools to support enhancing learning. Other areas include gesture recognition, data visualization, human-robot interaction, visual interface design, intelligent e-learning systems, and understanding and building platforms that maximize the positive organizational and social impact of technology.


International Connections: EPFL Switrzerland
AMMACHI Labs has collaborated with the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Laussanne (EPFL Switzerland). In March 2014 the team visited Lausanne for a Dual T Workshop.
