Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative 2D Animator to join our team As a 2D Animator, you will be responsible for creating engaging 2D animations for educational content. You will work closely with our development team, subject matter experts, and instructional designers to bring concepts and ideas to life through captivating visual storytelling. Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and develop high-quality Illustrators and 2D animations.
• Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to understand learning objectives and translate them into compelling visual narratives.
• Design and develop storyboards, character designs, background art, templates, and visual assets required for animations.
• Animate characters, objects, and environments using industry-standard software tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with the development team to integrate animations.
• Test and debug animations to ensure they function as intended and meet quality standards.
• Support cross-functional teams by providing expertise and assistance in the implementation of animations.
• Multitask effectively by managing multiple projects simultaneously and adapting to shifting priorities.
• Foster a positive and supportive organizational culture by promoting collaboration, open communication, and mutual respect among team members.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in animation technology and recommend improvements to enhance the visual quality and user experience.
• Contribute to the overall creative direction and vision of the projects, providing insights and suggestions for improvement.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, communicate progress, and meet project deadlines.
• Provide support and guidance to other team members when needed.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Digital Arts, or a related field. Relevant certifications or equivalent experience will also be considered.
• Proven experience as a 2D Illustrator and Animator, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating interactive animations and simulations.
• Proficiency in industry-standard animation software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate CC , Adobe Premiere Pro, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, character animation, and storytelling techniques.
• Good understanding of typography, and color theory.
• Proficient in motion graphic animation techniques.
• Experience with graphic design, illustration, and creating visual assets for animations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to multitask effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Ability to provide support and guidance to cross-functional teams.
• Ability to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the education or e-learning industry, creating educational animations or interactive learning content.
• Familiarity with EduTech platforms and LMS (Learning Management System) integration.
• Understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
