Abhi Ya Kabhi Game

vilasini-admin January 19, 2020 Serious Games

One of the other challenges facing social workers in villages is to engage the people in constructive dialogue and thoughtful analysis
of their lives, situations and key decisions. There is a huge requirement for a low-risk, low barrier platform for facilitating this process. “Abhi Ya Kabhi” (AYK), meaning “If not now, then when?”, was developed as a board game to address these issues and over time it has evolved into a powerful icebreaker and learning tool used in villages across India adopted by the MA Math. Through its fun and engaging board game play, a participatory design in community engagement is created which helps spark a larger conversation in their community about their issues and ways to solve them.
