Course Description

Artificial jewelry making is popular and easy to learn. The raw materials are also easy to obtain and transport. By training women on making artificial jewelry products, not only will they learn a new skill but they will also benefit economically by being able to start a small scale business of their own and thereby becoming an earning member of their family. Thus it will empower these women economically, socially and psychologically too as it raises their self esteem and morale not only in their eyes but also in their community. The course will be used primarily by AMMACHI Labs to deploy in the villages adopted by M.A Math across India. Additionally this will be made available in Amrita Vidyalayam schools and other Amrita partners.
