June 8, 2024 — AMMACHILabs and CWEGE had the pleasure of hosting Soundariya Preetha Mohan Kumar, the esteemed Deputy Chief of Bureau at The Hindu. Her visit provided a valuable opportunity for our team to showcase our mission, objectives, and the innovative initiatives currently underway.

During her time with us, Ms. Kumar was introduced to some of our cutting-edge technologies through live demonstrations. Notably, she experienced the Haptic Simulator for Bar Bending, which highlights our commitment to advanced training solutions. Additionally, she immersed herself in a virtual reality experience focused on scaffolding, gaining insight into our efforts to enhance safety and training in construction environments.

A highlight of the visit was Ms. Kumar’s interaction with the Haksh-E Social robot. This engagement allowed her to appreciate the robot’s capabilities and functionalities, reflecting our ongoing work in social robotics and human-robot interaction.
