Amritapuri, August 6, 2024 – The Mental Health Team at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, under the auspices of the Amrita Institute of Advanced Research (AIAR), conducted a series of mental health sessions for over 500 incoming students from August 2nd to 6th, 2024. The sessions catered specifically to students from the Computing, Computer Science Engineering, and Defence & Cyber Security departments.
These sessions were designed to equip students with practical life skills essential for navigating the challenges of academic life. Such insights are pivotal in cultivating positive and constructive relationships, both personally and professionally.
The students actively participated in the discussions, demonstrating a keen interest in the topics covered. Many reported finding the sessions informative and enriching, with several expressing appreciation for the supportive environment provided. The practical tools and strategies shared during the sessions were highlighted as particularly beneficial for managing mental well-being.
