October 30th, 2024 – This week, the “Women 4 Ethical AI” conference convened at UNESCO headquarters in Paris, gathering leaders to address the critical importance of ethics and gender inclusivity in artificial intelligence. Dr. Bhavani Rao, representing Amrita University as Director of AMMACHI Labs and the Center for Women Empowerment & Gender Equality, and holding the UNESCO Chair for Gender Equality & Women’s Empowerment, was among the distinguished speakers.
