November 5-6, 2024 – Members of AMMACHI Labs recently visited Olaikuda Village to meet with the women involved in the ongoing Seaweed Cultivation project. Over two days, the team engaged in meaningful discussions with the women, offering guidance, encouragement, and assistance in addressing any challenges they faced.

During the visit, the team also conducted socio-economic surveys with the villagers. These surveys aim to provide a clearer understanding of the socio-economic conditions in Olaikuda, helping to shape future efforts in supporting and empowering the community.

This initiative is part of AMMACHI Labs’ commitment to creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for women in coastal regions through community-centered projects.
