AMMACHI Labs specializes in developing immersive learning solutions, including
Virtual Skill Labs (VSL), eLearning modules, and simulations. We are looking for a
Video Editor to create high-quality instructional and promotional videos that enhance
our digital learning content.
Position Overview:
As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing, enhancing, and optimizing
video content for educational modules. You will collaborate with instructional
designers, graphic artists, and animators to produce engaging and professional
videos that effectively communicate learning concepts.
Responsibilities
1. Video Editing & Post-Production
Edit educational videos, interviews, and promotional content for Virtual Skill
Lab projects.
Perform spot editing for instructional videos based on the need.
Ensure smooth transitions, color correction, and audio synchronization.
Implement motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, and visual effects as needed.
2. Audio & Visual Enhancements
Adjust sound levels, background music, and voiceovers for clarity and
engagement.
Apply color grading and visual effects to enhance the quality of footage.
Optimize videos for different resolutions and platforms (LMS, web, mobile).
3. Collaboration & Content Management
Work closely with instructional designers to align videos with educational
objectives.
Coordinate with graphics artists and animators to integrate visuals into
learning modules.
Maintain an organized library of raw footage, edited files, and project assets.
4. Quality Control & Delivery
Review final edits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and engagement.
Render and export files in appropriate formats for different platforms.
Adapt videos based on stakeholder feedback and usability testing.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Film Editing, Multimedia, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in professional video editing.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and
Audition.
Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and transitions.
Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in educational or instructional video editing.
Knowledge of screen recording tools (Camtasia, OBS Studio, or similar).
