AMMACHI Labs is dedicated to developing immersive learning solutions, including
Virtual Skill Labs that enhance hands-on training through interactive simulations and
eLearning. We are seeking a talented Storyboarding Artist to visualize and design
compelling learning experiences for our Virtual Skill Lab project.
Position Overview:
As a Storyboarding Artist, you will be responsible for translating instructional content
into visual storyboards for video filming, instructional videos and eLearning modules.
You will work closely with instructional designers, graphic artists, video editors, and
developers to ensure clarity, flow, and learner engagement.
Responsibilities
1. Storyboard Development
Create detailed, structured storyboards that outline visual sequences for
filming based on the video scripts.
Develop sketches, scene layouts, and shot compositions to guide the
animation teams.
Ensure alignment between visual storytelling and instructional goals.
2. Collaboration with the Development Team
Work closely with instructional designers to translate technical content into
engaging visual narratives.
Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and refine storyboards accordingly.
3. Enhancing Learner Engagement
Design storyboards that emphasize clear, step-by-step skill demonstrations.
Utilize visual storytelling techniques to enhance user experience and
understanding.
Suggest innovative approaches to make the learning experience more
immersive.
4. Quality Control & Adaptation
Ensure the accuracy of storyboards in representing real-world skill training.
Adapt storyboards based on usability testing and learner feedback.
Maintain version control and documentation of storyboard revisions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Animation, Visual Arts, Graphic Design,
Instructional Design, or a related field.
0-2 years of experience in storyboarding for eLearning, animations, or
simulations.
Proficiency in storyboarding tools like Storyboard Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator,
or similar software.
Strong understanding of visual storytelling, scene composition, and camera
angles.
Basic knowledge of 3D animation workflows and Unity-based development is
a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with eLearning and instructional design principles.
Excellent sketching skills
Experience working with technical subject matter experts to translate complex
concepts into visuals.
Knowledge of motion graphics and animation techniques is an added
advantage.
