IEEE BSN 2026 Porto, Portugal Skill Intelligence

AMMACHI Labs is proud to share a research milestone as Gayathri Anand Manikutty presented work on wearable-sensor calibration and wrist-coupling measurement at the IEEE Body Sensor Networks (BSN) 2026 conference in Porto, Portugal.

The research contributes to efforts to understand and measure human skills using sensor-based technologies. By examining the calibration of wearable devices against an optical reference system, the work addresses an important step towards reliable movement measurement and skill assessment.

Research Presented at IEEE BSN 2026

The study, titled “Functional-Axis Calibration of Rokoko Smartgloves for Wrist Coupling Measurement: A Benchmark Against Optical Reference System,” examines functional-axis calibration of Rokoko Smartgloves for wrist-coupling measurement, benchmarking the measurements against an optical reference system.

Reliable measurement is essential when wearable sensors are used to study movement and human performance. Comparing wearable-device measurements with an optical reference provides a way to assess measurement behaviour and support dependable sensor-based research.
