AMMACHI Labs hosted its first Digital Fabrication Workshop for researchers at the Amrita 2nd Foundation Makerspace. Participants got hands-on training on laser cutting and CNC Routing machines. The workshops were taught by the Makerspace team.
The Amrita 2nd Foundation Makerspace provides a hands-on, creative space to encourage students and researchers to design, make and test their ideas as they deeply engage in science, engineering, design and art. Machines range from 3D printers to the laser cutting and woodworking machines and offer a hands-on environment to tinker with a lot of new technologies, supported by a team of dedicated mentors. The Makerspace will soon be open to the public offering memberships and training programs in design and prototyping.#makerspace #community #learning #workshop #students #making #creativity #education #3dprinters
