Amrita University students at Kanti village, Haryana, participated in tree plantation along with community members.Women here are not only becoming spontaneous tree growers, but are combining tree growing with a variety of agricultural and cultural significance.In these pictures students are planting seeds of Ghiya/Lauki (Bottle Gourd) and #SHG women planted Peepal Tree (Sacred Fig).
