August 8, 2025 – As part of a Learning through Exposure and Experience (LEE) activity, 22 students from the Vishwakarma Tailoring Project visited the Vavakkavu Old Age Home in Kollam.
Guided by trainer Ms. Renjini, the students put their tailoring skills to meaningful use by stitching and donating kaili mundus for nine male residents and nighties for ten female residents. They also brought along snacks, adding a sweet touch to the day.
This thoughtful initiative blended vocational learning with compassion and community service, leaving smiles on the faces of the residents and instilling in the students a deep sense of purpose and fulfillment.
