Certificate distribution for students from Amrita Mushroom Cultivation Center, Nuasahi

December 11, 2013 – The certificate distribution ceremony for the students from the Amrita Mushroom Cultivation Training Center at Nuasahi, Sakhigopal, Puri, took place today. The event marked a significant milestone for the project’s students and for the rural community it serves.

The ceremony began with a heartwarming welcome speech by the centre coordinator, Shri Santosh Kumar Patnaik. The event’s guests were then invited for the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, and they were presented with traditional Uttariyas and medicinal plants.Chief guest, Dr Manjulata Tripathy, Deputy Director, Horticulture, expressed her delight about the 100% pass result and extended her gratitude to Amrita University for initiating this transformative project in a remote rural area.
Dr. Tripathy explained to the students about various government schemes and subsidies that they could avail to pursue entrepreneurship, promising her unwavering support.

 Brahmacharini Namratamrita Chaitanya and Brahmacharini Rasikamrita Chaitanya were our honoured guests.
Subsequently, all the students were awarded certificates, mark sheets, and the Amritvani book. After the ceremony, everyone was invited for lunch.
