January 2025: AMMACHI Labs recently organized a hands-on soap-making workshop in Morpanai, where 20 women showcased their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit by producing 64 bars of handmade soap.

This workshop is part of a larger empowerment initiative implemented by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, with support from Transworld Group and Esri. The program aims to equip women with practical skills and inspire them to explore sustainable income opportunities through home-based enterprises.

The workshop not only fostered skill development but also encouraged creativity and collaboration among participants. With every handcrafted bar of soap, these women are taking significant steps toward self-reliance and economic empowerment.
