Srijanam 2026 Empowers Young Innovators Through AI-Powered Creativity

Twenty-five school students explored artificial intelligence through hands-on innovation, transforming creative ideas into AI-powered websites, mobile applications, and interactive games during an inspiring two-day learning experience at AMMACHI Labs.

Twenty-five young innovators from Grades 2 to 12 came together for two inspiring days of creativity, collaboration, and experiential learning at Srijanam 2026 – Vibe Coding Workshop, organized by AMMACHI Labs, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Designed to introduce school students to the rapidly evolving world of artificial intelligence, the workshop immersed participants in practical AI development while encouraging imagination, ethical thinking, and problem-solving.

🤖 AI Development

Students built AI-powered websites, mobile applications, and interactive games using modern AI-assisted development tools.

💡 Creative Learning

Hands-on exercises on AI Tools for website creation, quizzes, collaborative activities, and project-based learning encouraged innovation and teamwork.

🌍 Responsible AI

Participants explored prompt engineering, ethical AI practices, and responsible technology development for social impact.

Inspiring the Next Generation

The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Ganesha Udupa, Dean, Emerging Energy Technologies and Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Engineering, Amritapuri. Drawing from his contributions to India's Chandrayaan-3 mission and the development of solar-powered vehicles, he encouraged students to embrace emerging technologies with curiosity, creativity, and a passion for solving real-world challenges.

Two Days of Innovation

Participants gained practical experience developing AI-powered digital solutions while learning the fundamentals of prompt engineering and responsible AI.

Hands-on coding exercises, quizzes, collaborative activities, and guided mentoring transformed classroom learning into engaging, creative experiences.

Project Showcase

The workshop concluded with students confidently presenting their AI-powered creations before parents, faculty members, mentors, and invited guests, demonstrating both technical skills and creative thinking.

The valedictory session was graced by Vishwanathamrita Chaitanya, Centre Head, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, who distributed certificates to all participants and congratulated them on their enthusiasm, innovation, and dedication throughout the programme.

Beyond teaching technology, Srijanam 2026 emphasized the importance of responsible innovation. By combining creativity, experiential learning, and ethical AI practices, the workshop encouraged students to develop solutions that create meaningful social impact while preparing them for an AI-driven future.
