Inauguration of Sameekshanam Program (batch 2) for TSSP

January 29, 2024 – A momentous occasion unfolded today at Ist BATTALION, Yousufguda, Hyderabad, as the 2nd batch of the “Sameekshanam – Be Calm, Be Compassionate” program for Telangana State Special Police (TSSP) was inaugurated.

Esteemed dignitaries including Smt. Swati Lakra, IPS, ADGP, TSSP, Sri. MS. Siddiqui Deputy Inspector General of Police, TSSP, Hyderabad, Sri P.Murali Krishna Commandant 1st Bn, TSSP, Yousufguda, Sri T.N. Singh Addl. Commandant, 1st Battalion, TSSP, Yousufguda, Sri N.V Ramana Assistant Commandant, HeadQuarters TSSP, and other senior officers graced the event with their presence.

This 15-day workshop series, lovingly named as “MITRA- SHINE&SHARE” workshop by the TSSP, aims to empower 38 trainees as Master Trainers. These dedicated individuals will play a pivotal role in disseminating their acquired knowledge among personnel within their respective battalions in TSSP. The training, initiated by researchers and trainers from the Center for Women’s Empowerment and Gender Equality #CWEGE, School of Social and Behavioral Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, commenced immediately after the inauguration. 
The workshop series is designed to enhance the well-being of the forces by focusing on strategies to strengthen cognitive and emotional resilience. Notably, the program also places a significant emphasis on promoting gender harmony. We extend our heartfelt wishes to the participants and organizers for the success of the “Sameekshanam – Be Calm, Be Compassionate” program, as it continues to contribute to the holistic development of TSSP personnel.
