audiences across India. Our goal is to provide accessible, high-quality educational
resources in multiple regional languages. We are looking for a skilled Audio
Engineer to oversee the recording and editing of audio content that meets the
unique needs of our multilingual learners.
Position Overview: 
The Audio Engineer will be responsible for recording, editing, and mastering audio
content for eLearning courses, ensuring clarity, consistency, and quality across all
languages. This role requires an individual with a keen ear for language nuances
and an understanding of the cultural significance of regional dialects. The Audio
Engineer will work closely with voice artists, instructional designers, and project
managers to produce professional audio content that enhances the learning
experience.

Responsibilities

Audio Recording and Editing
Set up and manage audio recording sessions, including equipment
calibration, microphone placement, and sound checks, to capture high-quality
voiceovers in multiple regional languages.
Edit and clean audio files, removing background noise, normalising levels,
and ensuring clarity and consistency across all recordings.
Mix and master audio content, applying effects, filters, and sound adjustments
to achieve a polished, professional sound for eLearning modules.
2. Quality Control and Multilingual Content Management
Ensure all audio recordings meet quality standards, with clear enunciation,
accurate pronunciation, and proper tone for each regional language.
Maintain consistency in audio levels and format across various languages and
modules, adhering to company guidelines for volume, pitch, and pacing.

Collaborate with native speakers and language experts to verify linguistic
accuracy, ensuring that audio content resonates culturally and linguistically
with target audiences.
3. Project Collaboration and Coordination
Work closely with instructional designers, voiceover artists, and project
managers to plan recording sessions, set deadlines, and ensure timely
delivery of audio files.
Provide direction and feedback to voice artists on pronunciation, tone, and
pacing, aligning with the educational goals and content requirements of each
module.
Manage and organise audio files, maintaining a systematic and accessible
library of all multilingual recordings.
4. Technical Troubleshooting and Innovation
Troubleshoot audio issues during recording and editing, ensuring smooth and
efficient production workflows.
Keep updated on audio technology and software advancements to improve
the recording and editing processes.
Implement best practices for remote recording, as necessary, for geographically dispersed voice artists or collaborators.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Sound Design, Music Production,
or a related field.
2+ years of experience in audio recording, editing, and production, with a
focus on eLearning, educational content, or voiceover work.
Proficiency in audio software such as Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, Audacity,
or Logic Pro, along with a solid understanding of audio hardware
(microphones, mixers, audio interfaces).
Strong understanding of audio requirements for eLearning, including clarity,
pacing, and adaptability to various devices and environments.
Experience working with regional languages (e.g., Hindi, Tamil, Telugu,
Marathi, Bengali, Kannada) and understanding of cultural nuances in
voiceover for educational content.
Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability
to coordinate across multiple teams and meet deadlines.
