The course is based on awareness of women’s safety and Legal rights and prepares a student with the following competencies:

• Raising awareness and building capacity for legal rights
• Community education and empowerment
• Exposing village women to social justice work
• The knowledge to take the necessary action to avoid problems and where not possible, to help themselves appropriately
• Understanding the process clearly enough to perceive that justice has been done
• Awareness about claim rights
