International students can team up with us through #AmritaUniversity’s Live-In-Labs program: a multidisciplinary experiential learning program that facilitates the research, development, and deployment of sustainable solutions for current challenges faced by rural communities in India. Ana Carolina Rocha from PUC in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is doing field work and observation of water safety and sanitation habits of village communities. Léa Pascal from EPFL, Switzerland, is developing methods to teach villagers water safety through a water testing kit. AMMACHI Labs team members traveled with them to two villages near Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
