Skill Enterprise Engagement for Kerala- SEEK 2015 Conference
Prof. Bhavani and Ajay Balakrishnan were at today’s international/national summit in Trivandrum hosted by Additional Skill Acquisition Program (ASAP), a joint initiative of General and Higher Secondary Departments of Kerala. Shri. P.K. Abdu Rabb, the Minister for Education presided over the inaugural function.
Prof. Bhavani participated in two panels. The first was titled “Positioning Kerala as the Hub for Skilled Workforce: Innovative Options – Scale and Reach with Speed and Standards.” The second was titled “Lifelong Learning and Learning Pathways.” She presented the many innovative solutions AMMACHI Labs offers including MySangham, the vocational education training portal, which won Facebook’s Internet.org Innovation Award. Prof. Bhavani also presented the recommendations of the panel.
Content Manager Ajay Balakrishnan met many key members in the skill development landscape of Kerala. Research shows that people are who are trained through a computerized mechanism tend to learn and retain skills more than traditional training methods.
