Skill-eLab Study Concludes Successfully in Jhajjar

Jhajjar, June 21, 2024 — The Skill-eLab study at Jhajjar culminated in a celebratory closing ceremony on Friday, marking the end of a significant chapter in skill development for the region. The event was held at the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) and featured the participation of students, instructors, and distinguished guests.

Presiding over the ceremony were Shri Jeetpal, the Principal of the ITI, and Ms. Shefali Sharma from the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) Sankalp Team. The ceremony celebrated the achievements of the participants, with certificates distributed to all students and instructors who took part in the pilot study and completed the training.

In addition to the certificate distribution, the event featured sessions for doubt clearance and a refresher course on the Skill-eLabs package specifically designed for trainers. These sessions aimed to reinforce the knowledge and skills acquired during the study, ensuring that the trainers are well-equipped to continue their instructional roles.

The Skill-eLab project, a key initiative under the Sankalp program of Skill India, is a collaborative effort funded by the MSDE. The project is implemented by the Directorate General of Training (DGT), National Instructional Media Institute (NIMI Chennai), and AMMACHI Labs, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. This innovative study has paved the way for enhanced vocational training, fostering a skilled and empowered workforce for the future.
