Kerala, April – 6: 2025 — AMMACHI Labs, a center of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, recently celebrated two momentous certificate distribution ceremonies as part of the ongoing #ViswamritProject, recognizing the accomplishments of women participating in tailoring training programs under Self-Help Groups (SHGs).

🧵 On April 6th, a vibrant event in Punalur marked the successful completion of training for 24 women, who received their certificates amidst a gathering of local supporters and community members.

🧵 The second ceremony took place on April 19th in Kannur, where another 24 women were honored for their dedication and perseverance. The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including:

• Swamiji Amrita Kripanandapuri, Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Kannur

• Dr. Madhavan, President, Vishwakarma Navothan Foundation (VNF), Kannur District

• Advocate Y. Vinod Kumar, Kerala State President, VNF

• Mr. Saji, Secretary, Kerala Chamber of Commerce, VNF

• Mr. Sunder Kaynath and Mr. Sanoj Kumar, VNF Working Committee Members, Kannur

The Viswamrit Project is a collaborative initiative between Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and the Vishwakarma Navothan Foundation (VNF), aimed at fostering grassroots development through skill-building programs for women.

These ceremonies stand as a testament to the shared commitment to community empowerment, sustainable livelihood creation, and supporting women on their journey toward self-reliance.
