AYUDH India Students from Baneshwar Visit AMMACHI Labs for an Immersive Innovation Experience

Amritapuri, May 26, 2025 – AMMACHI Labs was delighted to welcome 18 enthusiastic student members of AYUDH India from Baneshwar for a dynamic and interactive visit that offered a hands-on look into cutting-edge research and technology aimed at social transformation.

The visit kicked off with a lively introduction to AMMACHI Labs’ mission, core research areas, and impactful community projects. Students gained insight into how the lab’s multidisciplinary approach combines technology, education, and social empowerment to address real-world challenges in vulnerable communities.

Participants were treated to live demonstrations of some of AMMACHI Labs’ most innovative tools and solutions, including:

  • The Amrita Scaffolding Simulator for construction safety training

  • The Haksh-e Social Robot, designed for human-robot interaction studies

  • The Elephant Watch Project, a conservation-tech initiative to prevent human-elephant conflict

  • The Bar Bending Simulator, a vocational skills training module

One of the highlights of the day was an immersive experience with AMMACHI Labs’ Virtual Reality (VR) technology. Students were captivated by the interactive simulations and how such advanced tools can be applied to education, training, and solving societal problems.

The visit sparked deep curiosity and inspiration among the AYUDH members, who left with a renewed sense of purpose and possibility. It was a meaningful exchange that showcased the power of combining innovation with compassion to drive social impact and youth empowerment.
