August 20, 2025 – This Raksha Bandhan, the spirit of tradition and empowerment intertwined through the hands of Anisha, an artisan, mother of three, and proud member of the WE Project Store. With dedication and artistry, she handcrafted 50 unique Rakhis, fulfilling festive orders that carried far more than ornamental value.
Each Rakhi was not just a thread but a testament to resilience, creativity, and cultural heritage. Every twist, bead, and knot reflected the essence of empowerment—transforming simple materials into symbols of love, protection, and timeless tradition.
From the workshop to homes across communities, these Rakhis traveled as messengers of empowerment and artistry, embodying the mission of AMMACHI Labs and CWEGE to support women’s livelihoods and celebrate their craftsmanship.
