6 March 2026 | Gadra Block, Barmer, Rajasthan : Nearly 50 Anganwadi teachers from two sectors of Gadra Block in Barmer district participated in a hands-on workshop organized by AMMACHI Labs, aimed at strengthening digital skills and promoting community health awareness. The program was held at the office of the Chief Child Development Officer, Mr. Shivraj Singh.
The workshop began with a Digital Literacy session, where participants were introduced to practical digital tools that can support their daily work and communication. Teachers learned how to complete Google Forms, create and join Google Meet sessions, manage audio and video settings, share documents, and compress and upload photos. For many participants, it was their first experience filling out a Google Form, marking an important step toward improving digital confidence and accessibility.
The program also included an interactive session focusing on women’s health, child nutrition, and the growing challenges of mobile phone addiction and junk food consumption. Anganwadi teachers actively engaged in discussions, sharing their experiences and concerns about how these issues are affecting children and families in their communities.
Participants expressed that the knowledge gained during the workshop will help them raise awareness and guide women and families in their Anganwadi centres and villages, extending the impact of the program to a wider community.
This initiative forms part of AMMACHI Labs’ ongoing efforts to strengthen women’s leadership, promote digital inclusion, and enhance community health awareness in the Sheo Constituency of Barmer district, Rajasthan.
