Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat
100 Sundays Campaign
Healthy Minds. Healthy Choices. Drug-Free Futures. Promoting substance-free living and mental well-being through community awareness in Odisha.
Promoting Healthy Minds and Responsible Choices
On Sunday, October 18, 2026, participants from the WADI Project in Asanabania Village, Odisha, came together for an awareness activity under the Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat | 100 Sundays Campaign, promoting healthy choices, mental well-being, and a substance-free future.
The session highlighted the harmful effects of substance abuse and its impact on mental health, encouraging community members, particularly young people, to understand the importance of making informed decisions and adopting healthy, substance-free lifestyles.
Building Awareness Through Community Participation
Through community engagement and awareness, the initiative sought to foster responsible choices and strengthen collective efforts towards building healthier communities.
By bringing awareness directly to the community, the WADI Project continues to encourage positive change and empower young people to contribute towards a healthier and more responsible society.
Inspired by Amma's Vision for a Drug-Free India
Inspired by the loving guidance and vision of Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma), the initiative carries forward her appeal for a Nasha Mukt Bharat—a drug-free India.
The activity reflects the importance of community participation, youth awareness, and collective responsibility in addressing substance abuse and promoting well-being.
