#AadharCard is considered the most important identity card by the government of India. The Unique Identification Authority of India(#UIDAI) recognizes the importance of Aadhar card because it is an ample proof of the citizen’s identity and address. In the rural villages of India, it helps the rural population to open bank accounts without any delay, to get pension money on time(senior citizens and widows) and access to LPG and other subsidies. AMMACHI Labs’ community organizer and facilitator in Ratanpur and Hadiabad villages in Bihar successfully facilitated Adhar card making camp in association with block development officer and other government authorities. Till now 40 people have received the adhar card and more people are planning to attend the camp and apply for the card.
