At Kalinagar village West Bengal, it was a day filled with #sbm related meetings. We have a good news to share, our Kalinagar village has an #ODF status now. As per block office 85% of the community has toilets now. Our sanitation committee reported that 53 toilets yet to be built of the total 350 families in the village which we chased in the days meetings.
Our deployment team met with Joint Block Development Officer Shri. R Bhattacharya to follow up on the pending toilet work. Following which we met BDO Shri. Subroto, both officers said they will review the survey list to decide on the eligibility criteria. Later on, team had a brief interaction with District Magistrate Shri. Ratnakar Rao. Our CO Lipika was with the team and will follow up as per the procedural requirements explained by district sanitation co-ordinator at the DM’s office.
