Meppady and Chooralmala, March 7th, 2025, the Amrita Sustainable Development and Disaster Resilience program proudly celebrated International Women’s Day at our centers in Meppady and Chooralmala. This special occasion was a vibrant tribute to the creativity, resilience, and strength of women in our community.

Our talented students from the computer and tailoring courses took center stage, showcasing their creativity through thought-provoking and impactful posters. These works of art reflected the aspirations, challenges, and triumphs of women, making a powerful statement about empowerment and equality.

Adding to the festive spirit, a mesmerizing dance performance captivated the audience, symbolizing the energy and grace of womanhood. The event was filled with joy, camaraderie, and a shared commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for women’s growth.
