Crafting Unity: WE Project Store’s Independence Day Contribution

August 15, 2025 – This Independence Day, the artisans of the WE Project Store proudly contributed their skills to a unique celebration of India’s unity and spirit.

As part of the Bharath Matha Pooja organized by the AYUDH youth team, the artisans handcrafted 1,500 pouches to carry sacred sand collected from Kashmir, Kanyakumari, and Amritapuri. Each pouch became a vessel of symbolism—uniting diverse regions of the country into one offering, gifted to youth as a reminder of India’s shared heritage.

The initiative was brought to life by the creativity and dedication of artisans Aswathy, Bincy, Sumalakshmi, and Sandhya, with a special appreciation for Aswathy’s exquisite screen-printing work that added an artistic touch to the pouches.

For the WE Project Store team, this contribution was more than a task—it was an honor and a source of pride, weaving their craft into a moment of national celebration.
