Data visualization and big data analysis will play a big role in the Center for Gender Equality’s Vulnerability Mapping Project. The #VMtoolkit aims to layer the data gathered about the vulnerabilities over a geospatial map and present the vulnerabilities of rural communities in a way where life-saving interventions can be made. PlotCon 2017, the world’s most visionary conference for data visualization in tech, was a great resource to learn more about the existing tools out there and for #AmritaUniversity to make connections in this sphere. #plotcon #mapd #gencen
