Amritapuri, Kerala – November 25-27, 2024: AMMACHI Labs hosted a transformative “Train the Trainer” program this week, designed to empower participants with the skills and knowledge necessary for effective community development. The three-day event combined practical workshops, interactive discussions, and field visits, offering a well-rounded and engaging learning experience.

The program explored a wide range of topics critical to community development. Participants delved into:

• Life-skills training, equipping them to address real-world challenges.
• Recycling management and clean-up drives, promoting sustainable practices.
• A soap-making workshop, blending entrepreneurial skill-building with hands-on creativity.
• LEE (Life Enrichment Education) discussions, fostering insightful dialogues on societal issues.
• IT training and survey techniques, enhancing digital literacy and data-gathering capabilities.

As part of the immersive experience, participants visited Amrita University and the Amritapuri Ashram, gaining exposure to innovative research projects, biodiversity conservation efforts, and sustainable living practices. These tours provided a glimpse into the impactful initiatives undertaken by the university and the ashram to create a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity.
