Trichy, Tamil Nadu – July 16–19, 2025: In a major step toward transforming STEM education in schools, AMMACHI Labs conducted a dynamic four-day “Introduction to Tinkering” workshop for teachers from various Amrita Vidyalayams across Tamil Nadu. Held from July 16 to 19 at Amrita Vidyalayam Trichy, the workshop marked the launch of AMMACHI Labs’ innovative teacher certification model aimed at equipping educators with essential skills in emerging technologies and student-centered learning.

Educators participated in experiential sessions designed to demystify tech tools and foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving in their teaching practices. The workshop also emphasized the importance of tinkering as a pedagogical approach that encourages exploration, iteration, and innovation in the classroom.
“Our goal is to build a strong foundation of tech-integrated learning environments in Amrita schools, starting with empowered teachers,” said the AMMACHI Labs team.
