Community Organizer Urmila Behera has attended a five day training organized by District Water and Sanitation Mission, Khurda. Dist. An Officer from Swachh Bharat Mission – Urban conducted a meeting in Guptapada village and selected Urmila & the AmritaCreate tuition teacher for the training.

Topics of Training included water & sanitation, water contamination due to open defecation, #ODF etc.

During the training, particpants travelled to the village which has toilets, but low-rates of usage. They looked into the challenges associated with open defecation for which behavioral change and other innovative interventions are needed.#sanichampion #womenempowerment, #ODFree
