Here’s what happened after women from Chandrapuri and Mathkhani villages met with the Gram Pradhan and submitted the petition for water supply and water tank. As per his direction our #CO and #SHG president Hemalatha and Kanchana with zonal officer Vinod, approached the Block Development Officer and #Swajal office in #Uttarakhand and submitted the petition (for adequate water supply, water tank and sewage pipeline).

Officers were delighted to meet with the community organizers and took a keen interest in listening about Women Empowerment: Community Sanitation through Democratic Participation (WE:CSDP) program and AMMACHI Lab activities. Later on, Hemalatha and Kanchana invited the officers to Chandrapuri and Mathkhani to attend the community events and address the community people at the various awareness campaigns organized by them.
