Women Leaders Inspire Future Generations on International Women’s Day.

On International Women’s Day our ten women #COs in #Odisha who are training at the #TTT train-the-trainer program shared their social empowerment experiences with the young boys girls enrolled for skill courses at Aditya Birla Group Skills Foundation A few days before, the central manager of the foundation was so impressed by the confidence of our women, that he requested our COs to share their expertise through an interactive, motivational session. The COs happily agreed and gave inspiring speeches to the students about how the #WE:CSDP (Women Empowerment Community Sanitation Through Democratic Participation) project transformed their lives and their communities. They also encouraged the youth by sharing their personal stories of success, that even with little or no education, these strong rural women transcended social and economic barriers to achieve great success. India’s youth must then rise up and use education as the most powerful tool to change the world. Our women stressed the importance of the younger generation to study well and work diligently towards contributing to society. The youth applauded the session and were so inspired, that many approached the COs after to learn more about how they too can take step towards positive change. The women COs were also touched to share their successes of becoming true #ChampionsofChange.
